Not quite what I expected

I guess I shouldn't complain as the price on this stand was inexpensive. However, I didn't expect it to be so wobbly. I thought about just removing the stand part and letting the display portion just sit by itself. However, that doesn't work well either because the bottom is not flush because of the center welded washer portion on the display. It appears the wobbly nature is a result of the center rod being tremendously smaller than the piece it fits into. If the rod were a little larger, it would still rotate and that would eliminate most of the wobbly.
